Activities that should be avoided for at least 48 hours afterwards include vigorous activity, sun bathing, sun beds, saunas, hot showers and baths, jacuzzis. It is imperative that you don’t wash or put make up for at least 4 hours after your session. Although painkillers are permitted, you will need to avoid anti-inflammatories such as aspirin.
